There has been lots and lots of hype around this product but is it really worth it?
Being fair skinned I'm always looking for contour shades that will suit me.
I really love using Taupe by NYX (which is a lot less grey) just under my cheekbones
to help slim my face and give a bit more definition to my cheeks.
You can also use this product on your eyes or any other part of your face you want to be more defined.
Chanel Notorious Sculpting Veil-£31
Notorious by Chanel has been a seriously sought after product and I must admit-I fell into the hype!
The gorgeous Chanel packaging might have had something to do with it!
This is a limited edition product and I think it'll be pretty hard to find it these days.
I found mine a few weeks ago in Selfridges if you're wondering!
It's a mauve-grey/brown colour and to be fair I've never seen anything like it.
I was actually pretty frightened to use this little baby for the first time!
I find it's best to start with a little and work your way up-definitely don't want to overdo it with this!
After hearing so many people rave about this product I was so surprised I was
a bit "meh" about it the first few times I used it.
I think it's taking me a long time to get used to it because it is so different from other sculpting products.
The product itself is very easy to blend into the skin & looks very natural when applied
correctly (a little goes a long way).
I guess the point of contouring is to make it look like a natural shadow, right?
This product achieves that however, if you're not careful it can make you look like the living dead.
Trust me, I made that mistake once and only once!
All in all, I think it's an interesting product and it definitely suits my skin tone.
I probably wouldn't run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to find it though.
As I said, I love the concept but there's something off about it I can't quite put my finger on?
I don't find myself reaching for it everyday and for £31-that ain't good.
Did you go mad looking for this product?
Is it weird that I like it but I'm not completely in love with it?
What do you think of it?
