I'm in the middle of a very intense spring cleaning rampage at the moment and recently tackled my desk. Don't ask about the rest of this room because it's going to take me another week or so to sort out *sigh*, but I thought I'd show you the things that live on top of my desk for anyone nosy enough to care!
Having a candle burning is an essential if I want to be productive. I never used to get the hype around candles, but I find it can really cozy up a room and relaxes me which is always nice. I finished my Diptyque candle in Opopanax which was lovely, but I've moved onto a candle at the other end of the scent spectrum called Contentment I've never encountered a Neom candle I didn't love. This one smells like blackcurrant, nutmeg and ginger. If you imagine yourself in a cute little cottage in the country surrounded by gorgeous flowers and fields in springtime THIS is what it would smell like. Really nice.

I have a weakness for pens, pencils, highlighters etc. I cannot stop myself! I found this huge glass vase at a thrift store a few years ago which is perfect for storing all of my writing needs! Might need to sort through this, but I just can't bring myself to throw any away!
Of course I keep my planner from Frankie Magazine in a handy location. I did a post all about this, but unfortunately they're all sold out. Under that is my red Moleskine which is what I use to plan out my videos, blogposts and other interesting things like grocery lists.
My pens of choice are the Pentel EnerGel Liquid Gel Ink Pens with violet ink. I've always loved writing with purple pens and I'm not going to change now!
I also have a ruler hanging around at all times because I'm a MAJOR underliner.
My clear telephone! Aslan and I went to a car boot sale and found this gem (here's the post about that)! I was so nervous it wouldn't work but we got home, plugged it in, heard the dial tone and jumped for joy!
I will use any excuse to use this phone.
As far as beauty products go I try to keep it minimal. I've got my Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm which I used to despise for a reason I can't pinpoint, but I gave it another try and I remembered why I bought it in the first place. Sinks in really quickly, smells lovely (kind of like oranges/tobacco?) and does a great job at moisturising. I've also been using the Melvita 3 Honeys Nectar* which is INCREDIBLE! The honey scent is to die for and it's great for rubbing onto your cuticles or elbows. I also use this on my lips on occasion, but I prefer to use my Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine for that. It smells like cotton candy & to be honest I'm just trying to use it up!
I couldn't resist showing off my MouseRug. I don't even know WHERE we got this, but I adore it. Aslan thinks it's the most hideous thing he's ever seen, but I will never part with it!
I don't always have fresh flowers, but these were my Valentine's Day flowers that I love so much. They smell amazing and brighten up what is normally a depressing room because it reminds me of all of the university work I need to do!
