Clinique Chubby Stick | Shadow Tint for Eyes

As I mentioned in my recent video, I've been in full-fledged study mode for the past few weeks.
You can probably tell from my red eyes that I've spent far too much time behind the computer and not enough time sleeping! Hopefully my school schedual will die down soon because at this rate I'm headed for the loony bin! Anyway, I took a study break to test out the Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes. I love the concept of these because I love cream eyeshadows, but it's not all rainbows and ponies-I have an issue with them.
The eye tints give a sheer wash of colour onto the lids which is buildable and very blendable.
I'm just wearing a bit of both colours, but you could definitely intensify this look by adding liner and darkening up the crease a bit.
We've all heard about the Chubby Sticks for Lips, but did you know Clinique sells Chubby Sticks for eyes? It's in the same sort of packaging and concept as the twist-up lipstick which makes it really easy to apply all over the eyelid. Wonderful to use as a base for other eyeshadows or on their own.

I usually don't have an issue with cream eyeshadows creasing, but these creased on me really quickly. I have to apply an eyeshadow primer before them (such as Painterly by MAC) to make them apply more evenly & smoothly. As for lasting power, without a primer I noticed these faded really quickly without a base. As soon as I tried it with my Painterly Paint Pot the lasting power doubled to about 7 hours.
So I'd definitely recommend applying an eyeshadow primer before use!
Fuller Fudge is a gorgeous chocolate brown shade-perfect for in the crease or all over the lid for a more dramatic, smokey look. Never in a million years would I think I'd love wearing a khaki green colour such as Whopping Willow, but when I applied it I thought it looked so cool! It's a different kind of colour, but it's still neutral so I'm comfortable wearing it on an everyday basis. In the photo above I'm wearing Whopping Willow all over the lid & a bit of Fuller Fudge in the crease. These two shades go together so beautifully and I think it's a really good example of "casual chic!"

These items aren't cheap, but to be fair I can't think of any high street dupes out there.
>A few people have just mentioned in the comments about the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils and Rimmel's version? Let me know if you've tried any drugstore dupes because clearly my knowledge is lacking on the subject!<
Who knows-maybe Revlon will jump on the bandwagon and release eyeshadows in stick form too!? ;)
Do you think you'd splash out for the convenience of having a cream eyeshadow in stick form?
They come in some really gorgeous shades- I have my eye on Lavish Lilac & Portly Plum!
