Last weekend I decided I wanted to learn how to knit.
Okay, it's a little more complicated than that but last weekend I decided
I would SERIOUSLY try to get into the habit of knitting!
When I was younger my grandma taught me the basics and luckily I still remember a lot of it!
shop called I Knit London (close to Waterloo Station).
It's a really casual and cute environment (no knitting snobs) so I took my time choosing out the
perfect wool for my beginner project. You guessed it-A SCARF!
I really hope I get good enough to knit these cute little creatures.
I think they would make such amazing gifts! Do you think it's hard?
After choosing the yarn, we did a bit of shopping in Oxford Circus.
Rachel has never knit anything in her life so she was rather thrilled with her creation!
Happy, happy, happy! We <3 Knitting!
They left me with some instructions, two needles and my wool.
Just kidding-we sat there and I got a nice good start on my scarf!
I'll keep you updated with my knitting project in this month's "Non-Beauty Favourites!"
Do you knit? Would you ever want to learn?
I think knitting has become quite a "cool" thing to do, don't you?
I hope one day I can be a knitting master!
