Inglot is one of those amazing stores that a beauty lover such as myself could spend hours browsing. I've been interested in making myself an Inglot eyeshadow palette for about two years and finally got around to doing it the other week! I went to the store in Westfield (White City).

The eyeshadows come separately and you have the fun of putting the whole thing together when you get home. Be sure to write down the names of the eyeshadows because the pans can be a bit tricky to remove after you've put them in the palette (although it is possible).

They have something called the Freedom System (which is similar to making your own MAC palette). Basically you get a little magnetic board, wander around the shop and choose the eyeshadows/blushes etc. that you want to turn into a palette. Their blushes are gorgeous too, but for now I stuck with a 5 pan eyeshadow palette (they have a few different sizes).
PRICE LIST:
5 Pan Freedom Palette- £7.00
Single Eyeshadows (2.3g)- £4.50 each
-------
TOTAL COST OF MY PALETTE= £29.50
Just to put this into perspective, four MAC eyeshadows (which are only 1.5 grams) would cost £40 and that's without a palette. The MAC palettes alone will set you back another £20.50 soOOoOOo.

I think the quality of Inglot shadows is absolutely impeccable and rivals some of my most favourite MAC shades. They have a really wide range of shades and lots of different formulations. All of the shadows I bought are very smooth, creamy, easily blendable and look plain gorgeous on the eyes.

The palette itself is quite slim, but very sturdy. The lid is magnetic which makes it really easy (you just swivel it to the side and voila)! The magnet is very strong though which puts my mind at ease. I contemplated the 10 pan palette, but thought this one was easier for travelling.

Inglot has many different finishes to their eyeshadows (similar to MAC). I wanted to make a palette that would have everything I would need to create a full eye makeup look. I have a matte and shimmery highlight colour, a gorgeous matte taupe grey, matte brown & that gorgeous AMC Shine on the right for a bit of shimmer.
That AMC Shine formula is a real showstopper, folks.

Here are the swatches (in the same order as they are in the palette). You can see that they are incredibly pigmented and I will tell you right now that the texture is gorgeous. I find the lasting power to be really great with these shadows too. The shade furthest to the left doesn't show up so well on me because it's very similar to my skin tone.
I really don't have a single bad thing to say about these eyeshadows!
Have you ever taken advantage of the "Freedom System" that Inglot offers?
